What: A 5k or 10k run/walk celebrating Day of the Dead. Complete your 5k or 10k any place, any time and receive your race goods in the mail!
Where: You can complete your virtual 5k or 10k at a time and location that works for you. Track your time manually or use the integrated event app. We mail race packages anywhere in the U.S.
When: Complete your 5k or 10k between Oct 28 – Nov. 5th.

What exactly is a virtual run?
Virtual races have become increasingly popular because they give people the opportunity to participate in races that they may not otherwise be able to participate in. For example, if they live far away, have other time commitments, or just don’t want to deal with crowds on race day. Virtual races mail you your race packet and allow you to complete your run at any time and any place.
When will I receive my Virtual Race package?
Packages will begin shipping on Oct 21, 2024. Virtual packages may take up to 10 days to deliver.
How do I record my time?
This is a fun run to honor our loved ones who have passed and celebrate Day of the Dead traditions. You can track your time and submit your results online using the integrated event app and online platform, though it is not required. Theses details will be emailed to all participants. We also encourage our virtual runners to SHARE THEIR STORY with us on SOCIAL MEDIA. Tell us who you’re running for and where you did your run. If you do not have social media, we would love to hear your story by email to [email protected].
How do I share who I’m running for?
Let us know where you’re doing your 5k and who you’re running for. Tag @losmuertos5k and share your story on FACEBOOK and INSTAGRAM. Be on the lookout for virtual race contests by following us on INSTAGRAM and FACEBOOK.
Can I purchase additional merchandise with my packet?
Yes! You will have the option to add additional Los Muertos 5k merchandise during the online registration process. We will ship these items with your virtual race packet.
